What is Pony Club?
The United States Pony Club (USPC) is a national organization founded in 1954 to teach riding and the proper care of horses. Pony Club emphasizes the all-around development of good horsemanship skills both on and off the horse. Opportunities abound for members to attend rallies, clinics, and educational events. Rallies provide competition opportunities in a variety of disciplines, and give members valuable lessons in organization, communication, teamwork, and respect for themselves and others. Members who do not wish to compete may focus on progressing through the certification levels in both Horse Management and a riding discipline. Each level earned requires an increasing depth of knowledge and skills.
Who can join Pony Club?
As an officially recognized Pony Club Riding Center, Access Equestrian is pleased to offer programming serving youth ages 6 to adults. Membership is open to current Access Equestrian clients, employees, and volunteers.
