Access Equestrian is an adaptive horse riding program located in the heart of Westchester County's horse country.
Established in 2010 to provide adaptive riding lessons for both children and adults with a broad range of disabilities. We are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to provide the therapeutic benefits of adaptive riding, hippotherapy, horsemanship, and other equine-assisted activities to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and other life challenges.

Join Our Volunteer Community
We are always in need of kind and caring volunteers to assist us in providing our programs.
Current volunteer opportunities available: HELP IN OUR ADAPTIVE RIDING LESSONS HELP CARE FOR OUR HORSES ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT EVENT ORGANIZING FUNDRAISING BOARD OF DIRECTORS WE ARE ALSO SEEKING VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST WITH CARPENTRY AND LANDSCAPING PROJECTS AT THE FARM |
Volunteer duties vary according to the particular program, but include everything from horse care, barn maintenance, assisting as a side walker, horse leader, as well as mentoring adults and children with special needs. It is the efforts of our wonderful volunteers that make our programs possible. All volunteers receive orientation and training before partnering with our volunteer program.

How can you get involved?
Access Equestrian is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, all contributions are fully tax deductible. We are an independent program, supported by donations and community contributions.
