Program Participant Enrollment and Evaluation Process
As we follow the standards set forth by PATH International, our accrediting agency, all participants in our program must complete a Participant Application, and sign the Liability, Photo and Safety Releases within the application on an annual basis.
For Adaptive Riding and Horsemanship, persons over the age of four and diagnosed with any physical, mental, emotional, or cognitive disability are eligible to participate in our programs. A physician's release form must be completed prior to riding, and updated annually.
For our Community Programs, children and adults without a diagnosed disability are welcome to join. Participants must be over the age of four. No physician release is required, however we reserve the right to ask for one.
For Hippotherapy with one of our licensed therapists, clients must be 2 years of age. A physician's release must be completed prior to an evaluation for services. A prescription is required for physical therapy services.
Once all necessary paperwork is received prospective clients are evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure their safety and to determine the best programming for that individual.
